Oils on canvas portraits by Robert H Miller

On this page I have included some of my favourite images I've painted to date. My favourite subject to paint is older men. The main reasons for this are firstly the character in their faces lends itself to my painting style and secondly I don't have to be as careful not to insult men with my interpretation of their image. I've learned through the years you have to be careful when painting women or young people. Older men seem to accept age with grace.
